Nature conservation and farming?

On 26 February 2025, the Hortobágy National Park Directorate will organise the eighth event in its lecture series connected to the Grassland-HU LIFE Integrated Project. The upcoming lecture will be held by Péter Balogh, farmer and geographer, who will discuss the relationship between nature conservation and agricultural management.

The aim of the National Park Directorate’s programme series is to explore the origins, causes, and impacts of differing perspectives that arise from the distinct yet interdependent activities of conservation managers and farmers; to identify common objectives; and to foster dialogue to promote more effective cooperation.

The eighth lecture will take place on 26 February 2025 at 5:00 p.m in the Hortobágy National Park Visitor Centre (4071 Hortobágy, Petőfi Square 9).
